BARGUNA, Feb 17, 2022 (BSS)- One person was killed and two others were injured in a road accident on Patuakhali-Kuakata Highway in Mahishkata bus stand area under Amtali upazila of the district today.
 
  The deceased was identified as Md. Faisal Pada,15, son of Forkan pada ,resident of Kalipur village under Amtali upazila of the district.
 
  The accident occurred when a Kuakata-bound passenger bus of Eagle Paribahan hit the battery-run autorickshaw in Mahishkata bus stand area around 9am, leaving one passenger of battery-nun autorickshaw dead on the spot and two others injured, said officer-in-charge (OC) of Amtali Police Station AKM Mizanur Rahman.
 
  The injured were first sent to Amtali Upazila Health complex and then to Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College for better treatment.
 
   Police detained the driver of the bus, the OC added.
