CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 18, 2022 (BSS)- Six more persons tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours till Friday morning, raising the total number of infection to 6,722 in the district.

   During the last 24 hours, 66 samples were tested. Of them, six persons were detected as positive for COVID-19 showing the infection rate at 9.09 percent, Civil Surgeon office sources confirmed.

   A total of 298 patients in which 25 in dedicated COVID hospital and others at home are undergoing treatment in the district.

   Meanwhile, 164 patients have died of COVID-19 and 6,263 patients with 40 new have recovered from the disease here, the sources added.
