PANCHAGARH, Feb 21, 2022 (BSS) - "Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day-2022" is being observed in the district today maintaining health guidelines with due respect, paying rich tributes to martyrs of the historic Language Movement of 1952.

   Lawmaker Md Mojaharul Hoque Prodhan placed wreaths first at Shaheed Minar at one minute-past zero hours in the town accompanied by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Johurul Islam, Police Super Yousuf Ali, Zilla Parishad Chairman Anower Sadat Samrat and Municipality Mayor Zakia Katun.

   Following the lawmaker, all government, semi-government offices, institutions and socio-cultural organizations also placed wreaths at the altar of the monument.

   National flag is flying at half-mast atop all buildings at the advent of the dawn.
