RANGPUR, Feb 22, 2022 (BSS) - As many as 2,03,733 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today raising the number of the first dose recipients to 1,14,21,014 in Rangpur division.
"Among the 2,03,733 new first dose recipients, 37,854 were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 3,961 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 17,948 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 1,43,9707 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs today," said Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 9:10 pm.
The first dose recipient 1,14,21,014 citizens include 38,98,535 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,92,716 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,876 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs, 17,69,539 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 4,28,348 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs.
Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 79,91,851 with inoculation of more 1,64,421 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division.
Among the 1,64,421 new second dose recipient citizens, 19,088 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 32,787 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs and 1,12,546 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs in the division today.
The second dose recipient 79,91,851 citizens include 18,52,498 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 48,15,567 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,27,554 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 11,96,232 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 3,22,467 people with the inoculation of 12,420 more citizens with the booster dose of the jabs today in the division.
"The 3,22,467 booster dose recipients include 3,09,861 vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 9,516 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 3,090 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs," Dr. Islam added.
