PANCHAGARH, Feb 25, 2022(BSS) - The newly-elected 10 UP chairmen took oath

yesterday in Debiganj upazila of the district.

  Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Panchagarh Md Johurul Islam administered the
oath to the elected UP chairmen and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Debiganj
Prottoy Hasan administered the oath to the elected general members and
members in women reserved seats at upazila parishad hall room on Thursday
afternoon.

   Upazila chairman of Debiganj Abdul Malek Chistee, Superintendent of Police
Yousuf Ali, Upazila Awami League President Gias Uddin Chowdhury and its
General Secretary Hasnat Zaman Chowdhury and others concerned government
officials were present, among others, on the occasion.

  Golam Rahman Sarkar (Boat), Asraful Alam Imu (Boat), Poresh Chandra (Boat),
Monivushon Ray (Boat), Ajgor Ali(Boat) Aminur Rahman (Boat), Faridul Islam
(Horse), Mosiur Rahman (Horse), Harun-or-Rashid (Motorcycle), Abdul Halim
(Horse) won as UP chairmen in the 10 UP election on January 31.
