HABIGANJ, Feb 25, 2022 (BSS) - A mobile court here today sentenced four

drug addicts to three months in jail each in Rampur village of the district
last night.

   The convicted were identified as Ramzan Mia, 22, son of Ustar Mia of
Majlishpur village in Habiganj Sadar upazila, Raihan Mia, 20, son of Bablu
Mia of the same village, Jalal Uddin, 21, son of Karam Ali and Roni
Sutradhar, 21, son of Brajlal Sutradhar of Rampur village of the upazila.

   Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (land) of Habiganj Sadar
Upazila Yasin Arafat Rana carried out the drive at the initiative of the
District Narcotics Control Department and arrested the duo along with 160
grams of cannabis at Rampur Government Primary School ground last night.

   The Executive Magistrate sentenced them to three months jail each for drug
use last night.
