CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 26, 2022 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested an alleged drug peddler with 865 grams of heroin from Shibganj in
the district early today.

   The arrested person is Md. Shanto Ali, 24 of Kamlakantapur village under
Shibganj upazila of the district.

  RAB said acting on detective information, an operation team of the elite
force from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid at Ali's house at 1.40 am
and found the heroin.

  RAB team then arrested Ali and seized the narcotics.

  Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police with filing a
case.
