RANGPUR, Feb 26, 2022 (BSS) - As many as two crore four lakh 47 thousand
and 351 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered till Friday in all eight
districts of the division.

   Health officials said the Covid-19 vaccination campaign continues smoothly
amid huge encouragement among citizens as five types of jabs from Moderna,
AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNTech and Sinovac in the division.

   "Among the vaccinated citizens, 1,18,86,866 were inoculated with the first
dose, 82,13,303 with the second dose and 3,47,482 with the booster dose of
Covid-19 jabs," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam told BSS
today.

   Among the first dose recipients, 39,08,362 people were vaccinated with
AstraZeneca, 51,93,728 people with Sinopharm, 1,31,876 with Moderna,
18,87,692 with Pfizer-BioNTech and 8,24,594 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs.

  Of the second dose recipients, 8,87,692 got AstraZeneca, 48,34,824
Sinopharm, 1,27,554 Moderna and 13,62,895 Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccines.

   Apart from this, 3,34,876 people received booster doses of AstraZeneca,
9,516 Pfizer-BioNTech and 3,090 Moderna, Dr. Islam added.
