RANGPUR, Feb 27, 2022 (BSS) - As many as 1,08,141 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 jabs on the second day of the three-day mass vaccine campaign today raising the number of first dose recipients to 1,30,78,035 in Rangpur division.
"Among the 1,08,141 new first dose recipients, 12,918 were inoculated with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 13,706 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 81,517 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs today," said Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 8:45 pm.
The first dose recipient 1,30,78,035 citizens include 39,28,896 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 52,18,613 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,876 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs, 19,33,606 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 18,65,044 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs.
Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 83,84,362 with inoculation of more 67,007 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division.
Among the 67,007 new second dose recipient citizens, 23,860 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 6,272 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 36,739 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 136 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs in the division today.
The second dose recipient 83,84,362 citizens include 19,56,211 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 48,53,790 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,27,554 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs, 14,46,633 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 174 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs.
Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 3,71,644 people with the inoculation of 11,412 more citizens with the booster dose of the jabs today in the division.
"The 3,71,644 booster dose recipients include 3,59,038 vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 9,516 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 3,090 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs," Dr. Islam added.
