MYMENSINGH, March 1, 2022 (BSS) - The target of first dose of special

Covid-19 mass vaccination has been exceeded in Mymensingh district.

  District Civil Surgeon Dr Nazrul Islam confirmed it and said a total of
3,29,680 people received vaccines during the three-day special vaccination
campaign in all 13 upazilas of the district including Mymensingh City
Corporation.

   The target was fixed for first dose of vaccination to 2,82,600 people in
the district which was started on February 26 last and ended on February 28
as part of the countrywide campaign, the sources said.

  A total of 2,68,761 people received first dose of vaccines on February 26 while
30,371 people got it on February 27 and 30,548 people received the vaccines on
February 28, the last day of the campaign, Civil Surgeon Office said.

   Mentionable, the campaign was conducted at 4,500 centres in 146 unions of
the district including the City Corporation.
