CHUADANGA, April 19, 2022 (BSS) - The government through the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) has distributed agricultural equipments among 24 farmers of Sadar upazila in the district at fifty percent subsidized rates.

Sadar Upazila Chairman Ashadul Haque Biswas distributed the equipments as the chief guest among the farmers at a function held on Sadar upazila office premises this afternoon with Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shamim Bhuiyan in the chair.

Among the distributed equipments are -- four combine harvester machine, six power thresher machine, three reaper machine, one power sprayer machine, 5-cedar and 5 bed planter machines.

The government has provided Taka 64 lakh 10 thousand as subsidy to buy this equipment.

Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer Talha Zubair Mashroor, Additional Agriculture Officer Afrin Binte Aziz, among others, were present on the occasion.

Farmers are very happy to get equipments at subsidised price.
