RAJSHAHI, April 24, 2022 (BSS)- Police in an anti-crime operation arrested
two alleged drug-peddlers with 1,350 contraband sex-stimulating tablets from
a place in the city last night.

The arrested were identified as Masud Rana, 28, and his brother Rubel Ali,
20, sons of Hasmat Ali of Char Mazar Diar village under Paba upazila of the
district.

On a tip-off, a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of Rajshahi Metropolitan
Police conducted a sudden raid in Shreerampur area under Rajpara Police
Station around 8.30 pm and arrested them with the huge sex-stimulating drugs
red-handed.
 
Deputy Commissioner of DB Arefin Jewel said the arrested persons were engaged
in trafficking and trading of various drug items for a long time.

A case was recorded with the police station in this connection, he added.
