SHARIATPUR, May 16, 2022 (BSS) - A two-day 'Entrepreneur Training Workshop' began in the district today.

Joint secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Division (ICT) and A2I project director Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir virtually inaugurated the two-day hands-on hands training workshop around 2.45pm.

The workshop was organized by the district administration at Shariatpur Circuit House auditorium and in collaboration with Access to Information (A2I), 40 entrepreneurs participated. The training will end tomorrow.

Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir joint secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Division (ICT) and A2I project director virtually addressed the function as the chief guest with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Parvez Hasan in the chair.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education & ICT) & Focal Point Officer and District Branding Training Director Asmaul Husna Liza, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Touchif Ahmed, District Branding Training Coordinator and Alternate Focal Point Officer Assistant Commissioner Abhijit Sutradhar, among others, were present on the occasion.

 The title of the event was 'Products, Tourism, and Initiatives'.

Deputy Commissioner Parvez Hasan in his speech highlighted the importance of ICT among entrepreneurs and suggested to enhance their experience by using technology.

He urged everyone to be entrepreneurs and he assured everyone that Shariatpur district administration would stand by the entrepreneurs in any need.

Divisional Jayita Samsun Nahar Sumi Entrepreneur who participated in the workshop said, "Such workshops are very important.
