SYLHET, June 15, 2022 (BSS) - A girl and her brother drowned while a boat

capsized in a haor under Dowarabazar upazila of Sunamganj district today.

The deceased were identified as Tamanna, 15, and Showrob, 10, both are the
students of Samuj Ali High School and College in the upazila.

Local people said Tamanna and Showrob drowned when their boat capsized in
Gujowra haor around 9:30 am for wild wind and strong stream.

They were heading towards their school by the boat, the sources added.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dowarabazar Thana Dev Dulal confirmed the matter.
