MYIMENSINGH June 15, 2022 (BSS) - The first digital Population, housing Census -2022 began here today as part of country wide programme to make it flawless and successful.

Marking the programme, a rally was brought out in the city streets this morning. Additional Divisional Commissioner Md,Anwar Hossen inaugurated the rally at 9am in front of the Divisional Commissioner Office. Deputy Commissioner Md. While inaugurating Additional Divisional Commissioner said this is the first time digital population, housing census is being held across the country He called upon all to give necessary information to the concerned people to make a perfect statistics database for the greater interest of the country.

Deputy Director (DD) said a total of 2224 Supervisors and 12,985 enumerators have been involved in the process. Besides 139 IT Supervisors, 139 Zonal officers and 5 district Coordinators have been engaged for making the census perfectly fare and correct.

Concerned sources said the enumerators will go door-to-door to collect information from the households.

The population census will end on June 21, 2022, the sources said.
