BOGURA, Aug 18, 2022 (BSS) - Two people were killed and four other injured in
a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG run auto rickshaw in Sherpur
upazila of the district today.

One of the deceased was identified as CNG driver Abdul Based, 35, hailed from
Bireil village in the upazila. The other identification could not be known
immediately.

In charge of Sherpur Highway police camp Baniul Anam said the accident
occurred at around 11:45 am at Hamchayapur on the Dhaka-Bogura Highway. The
CNG driver died under treatment at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College
Hospital and the unidentified man breathed his last on the way to Sherpur
Upazila Health Complex.

The injured people were admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College
Hospital.

Police seized the bus and the auto rickshaw. Bodies were sent to Bogura
General Hospital.
