RANGPUR, Oct 6, 2022 (BSS) - No fresh Covid-19 case was recorded in the division on Wednesday for the first time since September 25.
   
"No Covid-19 case was found after testing 35 samples on Wednesday, keeping the total number of infected patients steady at 64,893 in the division," Divisional Deputy Director (Health) Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman said.
 
The total number of recovered patients also remained steady at 63,494 as no more patient healed here during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today.
 
The number of casualties remained same at 1,291 as no new death was reported during the time.   
 
Meanwhile, a total of three crore 26 lakh 86 thousand and 971 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered till Wednesday in all eight districts of the division.
 
"Among the total administered Covid-19 jabs, 1,37,20,004 doses were inoculated as the first doses, 1,32,41,431 as the second doses and 57,25,536 as the booster doses," Dr. Rahman added.
