GOPALGANJ, Oct 26, 2022 (BSS) - A driver was killed and 15 others were injured in a head-on collision between two buses on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in the Majhigati area under Kashiani Upazila of the district last night.

 
The deceased was identified as BRTC bus driver Murad, 45.
 
A Khulna-bound bus of Imad Paribahan from Dhaka collided head-on with a Dhaka-bound BRTC bus at around 9 pm last night, leaving Murad dead on the spot and 15 passengers of two buses injured, Muksudpur Fire Service Station Officer Sajibur Rahman said.
 
Police and Muksudpur fire service station personnel rescued the injured and took them to Muksudpur Upazila Health Complex, he said.
