RAJSHAHI, Nov 2, 2022 (BSS)- Income tax zone launched a month-long information service centre at its office premises here yesterday aimed at extending necessary support to the taxpayers in terms of submitting their tax return for the current 2022-23 financial year.

Income Tax Commissioner of the zone Nuruzzaman Khan said they have launched the service centre for the taxpayers so that they can submit their tax return smoothly and correctly.

He said they have introduced the month-long centre for welfare of the taxpayers similar to the tax fair which is also not being held this year like the previous two years caused by Covid-19 pandemic.

Talking to BSS here today Commissioner Khan said the taxpayers will get support of filling up their return forms accurately side by side with submitting those properly. Instantly, they will also get receipt copies.

Apart from this, the taxpayers who are interested to submit E-return will avail facilities in separate booths in the centre.
