HABIGANJ, Nov 19, 2022 (BSS) - A two-day long digital innovation fair-2022
began on the premises of Deputy Commissioner Office here with the slogan
"Udbhavani Joyollashe Smart Bangladesh" today.
On the occasion, a colorful rally was brought out from the Deputy
Commissioner Office this morning and ended at the same place after parading
main streets of the district.

Ziaul Alam inaugurated the fair as the chief guest with Deputy Commissioner
(DC) Ishrat Jahan in the chair.
The government has taken various projects to move on the country's economy
through information technology with the objective of job creation and
economic development, the chief guest said.
He said this fair is organising to present the multifaceted activities of
various departments of the government and to extend the process of providing
services to the public.
He also commented that this fair will play an important role in making the
new generation aware of science.
"The government has taken initiatives to achieve the sustainable goals of the
Digital Bangladesh by 2030 and build Smart Bangladesh by 2041," Ziaul Alam
said, adding that the government is working to increase technology skills,
create innovation and connect people with technology.
On the occasion, District Awami League General Secretary Advocate Alamgir
Chowdhury, Additional Superintendent of Police Palash Ranjan Dey, Brindavan
Government College Principal Elias Bakht Chowdhury Jalal, Additional Deputy
Commissioner (Education and ICT) Rafiqul Islam, District Education Officer
Mohammad Ruhullah were present, among others, as special guests.
A total of 43 stalls of various government departments, educational
institutions, NGOs and other institutions participated in the fair.
