CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 21, 2022 (BSS)-Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 10 bottles of Indian wine and 400 grams of heroin in two separate drives at the frontier areas last night.

BGB said, acting on a tip off, a patrol team of BGB from Masudpur Border Out Post (BOP) conducted a raid at frontier Ramnathpur village under Shibganj upazila in the district at around 7:20 pm and found 10 bottles of Indian wine in an abandoned condition.

Another team of BGB from Bakherali BOP raided Alimnagar village under Char Bagdanga union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila at around 9:20 pm and seized 400 grams of heroin.

None could be arrested during the two drives, the sources added.
