JAMALPUR, Dec 4, 2022 (BSS) - Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque today said though Pakistan was defeated in 1971, pro-Pakistani people are active in hatching conspiracy in the country.

He was speaking at a function on the occasion of Dhanua Kamalpur Free Day at Dhanua Kamalpur High School Field under Bakshiganj upazila of the district, said a press release.

The minister urged the valiant freedom fighters to root out Pakistani elements for the well being of the country.

Mozammel Haque said speeches of the Freedom Fighters will be recorded and be protected for the future generation.

With deputy commissioner Srabanti Roy in the chair, the function was addressed ,among others, by State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haq Khan, former Information Minister Abul Kalam Azad, former principal secretary Abul Kalam Azad and President and Secretary of Jamalpur district unit Awami League advocate Baki Billa and Bijan Kumar Chanda.
