CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 8, 2022 (BSS)- Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 730 grams of Indian heroin from Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila on Wednesday.

BGB said, acting on a tip off, a patrol team of BGB from Poladanga border out post conducted a raid in the house of one Md Jewel, 30, son of Abdur Razzaq of Jelepara under Alatuli union of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila around 7 pm and seized the heroin.

As the owner of the house was not at home, BGB filed a case with Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station against Jewel showing him absconded, the sources added.
