KHULNA, Dec 10, 2022 (BSS) – In protest of country wide anarchy, terrorist activities and mayhem in the capital, Khulna City unit of Awami League brought out a protest rally and procession in the city today.

The protest procession began in front of Shaheed Hadis Park and ended at the party office after parading different streets in the city.

Earlier, Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Talukder Abdul Khaleque presided over a protest rally at the party office. He said everyone should be ready and alert against countrywide anarchy, terrorist activities and mayhem of BNP.

He said, “BNP will swallow whole Bangladesh if it comes to power. They cannot be given that chance. The colourful dream of BNP to come in power will vanish.”

Khaleque, also the president of city unit Awami League, asked the AL men and follower organizations to bring out regular protest rally and procession in the streets.

General Secretary of city unit AL MDA Babul Rana, AL leaders Munshi Mahbub Alam Sohag, Professor Shahidul Haque Mintu, Sheikh Faruk Hasan Hitlu, Shafiqur Rahman Palash, Nurina Rahman Beauty and Asaduzzaman Russel, among others, also spoke.
