TANGAIL, Feb 10, 2025 (BSS) - A 10-day Youth Fair has started in Tangail with the slogan "Esho Desh Bodlai, Prithibi Bodlai" (Let's Change the Country, Let's Change the World)," aiming to contribute to building a new Bangladesh.
The fair was inaugurated by Tangail Deputy Commissioner Sharifa Haque at the Public Service Square, adjacent to the Deputy Commissioner's office, this afternoon.
The event is organized by the District Administration.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Police Superintendent Md. Mizanur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioners-Md. Abdullah Al Mamun (General), Md. Shafiqul Islam (Revenue), and Sanjay Kumar Mahanta (Education and ICT)-Upazila Executive Officer of Tangail Sadar Nahida Akhter, District Senior Information Officer Tahlima Jannat, Deputy Director of District Youth Development Department Fatema Begum, and President of Tangail Press Club Advocate Zafar Ahmed.
A total of 53 stalls of various government departments and local entrepreneurs have been set up on the fairground.
A photo exhibition on the July Uprising and various cultural programs has been arranged on the occasion of the fair.
Organizers hope that the Youth Fair will not only create enthusiasm among youths but also play a vital role in the growth of local entrepreneurs.
