NEW DELHI, Oct 18, 2023 (BSS/AFP) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Wednesday he was "deeply shocked" by a blast at a Gaza hospital that health officials said killed hundreds of people, adding that the perpetrators must face justice.

"Civilian casualties in the ongoing conflict are a matter of serious and continuing concern," Modi wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "Those involved should be held responsible."
