STOCKHOLM, Nov 23, 2023 (BSS /TASS) - The Finnish government has decided to close three checkpoints on the border with Russia with the exception of the Raja-Jooseppi border crossing point, the Finnish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"The government has made a decision to shut down the Kuusamo, Salla and Vartius border checkpoints on Friday, November 24, 2023 at midnight local time (10 p.m. GMT - TASS). All border crossings on the eastern border will take place via the Raja-Jooseppi checkpoint," the statement said.
