MOSCOW, Dec 11, 2023 (BSS/AFP) - Presidential elections in Russia that are
likely to see Vladimir Putin re-elected will be held in four Ukrainian
regions that the Kremlin claimed to have annexed last year, Moscow said
Monday.
The Central Elections Commission, according to Russian news agencies, said
voting in March would go ahead in Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson
-- regions that Russia claimed to have annexed in 2022, despite not having
full military control over them.
