JOHANNESBURG, April 2, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - South Africa's former president Jacob Zuma on Tuesday filed an appeal against a decision by electoral officials last week barring him from running in general elections in May.
The electoral commission "had no valid reasons to violate the political rights of President Zuma," read the court papers filed by Zuma's uMkhonto we Sizwe (MK) party and seen by AFP.
