BEIJING, May 7, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Two people were killed and 21 wounded on Tuesday in a knife attack at a hospital in southwestern China, local police said.

"On 7 May 2024, at approximately 11:37 am (0337 GMT), a knife attack occurred at the Chengnan Hospital in Zhenxiong County, which resulted in two deaths and 21 injuries," the local police force in Yunnan province said in a statement on WeChat, adding that a male suspect was under investigation.
