BERLIN, May 8, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Wednesday condemned a recent wave of attacks against politicians in Germany, including a former mayor of Berlin who was hit in the head with a bag."The attacks on Franziska Giffey and other politicians are outrageous and cowardly," Scholz wrote on X, formerly Twitter, adding that politicians "deserve respect".
