LONDON, Oct 10, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday met UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on a whirlwind tour of European allies to secure aid for Ukraine's fight-back against Russia before crunch US elections next month.

The pair shook hands and posed for photographs on the red carpet outside Downing Street in central London. Starmer also has a meeting scheduled with new NATO secretary general Mark Rutte later in the day.
