SYDNEY, Dec 8, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Sunday an arson attack on a Melbourne synagogue was the "definition of terrorism".

"Terrorism is something that is aimed at creating fear in the community and the atrocities that occurred at the synagogue in Melbourne clearly were designed to create fear in the community," Albanese told reporters, adding that the arson fulfilled his personal "definition of terrorism".
