MOSCOW, Dec 31, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the achievements made under his rule in a New Year's Eve speech on Tuesday marking 25 years since he came to power.

"We still have a lot to decide but we can be rightfully proud of what has already been done," Putin said in the annual address aired on state television.
