DHAKA, May 10, 2022 (BSS) - Ehtesham Haider Chowdhury, father of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) President Sohel Haider Chowdhury, passed away at his village home in Feni district today.

He was 83.

He left behind his wife and three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
 
He was buried at his family graveyard in Daulatpur Chowdhury Para after   namaz-e-janaza after Asr prayers.
 
Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound sock and sorrow at the death of Ehtesham.

In a condolence message, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
