DHAKA, Jan 1, 2023 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today said Bangladesh would move ahead in the year of 2023 too under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina combating all political and global challenges.
"Awami League is ready to face different global challenges including 'politics of confrontation' and 'politics of denial' which are practiced by BNP and their collaborators. Bangabandhu's daughter, Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has moved the country ahead combating all challenges amid global crisis and COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
Hasan said this while replying to a query of reporters after addressing a function at the National Institute of Mass Communication (NIMCO) in the capital.
NIMCO organised the programme marking its 43rd founding anniversary.

Hasan said the mega Padma Bridge and Metro Rail were inaugurated amid world recession and crisis due to COVID-19 and Russia-Ukraine war.
"The countrymen are excited while the USA, India and even Pakistan have congratulated us. But, it is regrettably true that opposition party BNP has failed to congratulate. It is their political bankruptcy," he added.
He said Bangladesh would be turned into a developed nation by 2041. For this, it is needed to reach the country into the dream destination through developing humanity, merit, mind, and patriotism along with infrastructural development, said Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary.
