Lu arrived here from India after wrapping up his two-day visit in New Delhi.
Earlier this morning, while asked by the reporters, foreign minister Momen said Dhaka would request Washington to reconsider the sanctions imposed on elite force Rab and withdraw the sanctions considering its positive role in the country.
"We will raise our issues. They will raise their issues,” he said regarding tomorrow’s meeting with US assistant secretary of state.
On Friday, Momen said, it is obvious that Bangladesh and the US do enjoy good relations as both the countries believe in same values and promote democracy and human rights.
