DHAKA, March 2, 2023 (BSS) - State Minister for Religious Affairs M Faridul Huq Khan has said the government is going to implement all the pledges according to the election manifesto.

“The government led by the ruling Awami League is going to fulfill all the pledges which earlier being made  in  the electoral manifesto”, he said while addressing an inter-religious dialogue held at the Islamic Foundation Auditorium here yesterday.

At the same time, Faridul Huq said the religious affairs ministry is now being implemented diversified programmes in line with the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina aiming to develop of all the religious communities and increasing communal harmony as well. 

“Country’s development is now expediting ahead as communal harmony and stability has been sustaining in the country under the befitting leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”, he told the function arranged by Dhaka District Administration.

Chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Mohammad Maminur Rahman, the programme also was addressed, among others, by police super, Dhaka M Asaduzzaman, Dhaka district council chairman veteran freedom fighter Mahbubur Rahman and Dhaka district unit Awami League general secretary Paniruzzaman Tarun.
