MYMENSINGH, March 10, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has visited Mymensingh circuit house ground tonight ahead of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's public rally to be held tomorrow at the venue.

"We have implemented most of the pledges which were made in our election manifesto before 2018 elections. We have built Digital Bangladesh," he said while talking to reporters after visiting the venue.

Quader added: "Now we want to build a Smart Bangladesh under Sheikh Hasina's leadership, this will be the main message of the Mymensingh public rally."

The minister said massive development works were made in Mymensingh during the tenure of AL.

Today the general people are suffering as the price of essentials hiked due to global crisis, he said.

He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to bring comfort for the people.

Describing Mymensingh as strong base of Awami League, he said the premier will seek support of the people of Mymensingh for making her party victorious in the next general elections.

Agriculture Minister Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, State Minister for Housing and Public Works Sharif Ahmed, State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, AL Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua, Mymensingh City Mayor Ekramul Haque Titu, Fahmi Gulandaz Babel, MP, district AL President Ehtashemul Alam, General Secretary Moazzem Hossain Babul, City AL General Secretary Mohit-ur-Rahman Shanto and Zila Parishad Chairman Professor Yusuf Khan Pathan were present on the occasion, among others.
