DHAKA, April 21, 2023 (BSS) - Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will exchange greetings with cross section of people on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated tomorrow.

"The Prime Minister will start exchanging Eid greetings with the people of all strata of life at her official Ganabhaban residence here from 10am tomorrow," PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS.

After an interval of three years, the Prime Minister will exchange Eid greetings in person with her party leaders and workers and people of all classes and professions that include poets, litterateurs, writers, journalists, teachers and intellectuals.

Later, she will exchange greetings with judges, cabinet secretary, chiefs of the three services, foreign diplomats, senior secretaries, secretaries and other civil and military officials with rank equivalent to secretaries from 11am.

The programme could not be held in 2020, 2021 and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The nation will celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow, the largest religious festival of the Muslims as the moon was sighted today.
