DHAKA, April 25, 2023 (BSS) - President Mohammed Sahabuddin will pay rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman tomorrow.

The Head of the State is scheduled to pay his homage by placing a wreath at the mazar (mausoleum) of Bangabandhu at Tungipara in Gopalganj at about 12:30 pm.

A smartly turned out contingent drawn from Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force will give an honour guard there.

President's motorcade will reach Tungipara via Padma Bridge. He will return to Dhaka by afternoon. 

President Sahabuddin will offer fateha and join a munajat seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu as well as other martyrs of the August 15 carnage.

The President will sign the visitors' book kept on the mazar premises.
