DHAKA, May 20, 2023 (BSS) - The 'Land Service Week-2022' will begin across
the country on May 22 aiming to make people aware of their rights to get land
services.
The main objective of this year's land service week is to involve the people
of the country in the smart land service initiatives launched by Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina, an official release said here today.
The theme of this year's land service week is "The land ministry in smart
land service."
The commissioners of eight divisions and deputy commissioners will inaugurate
Land Service Week-2023 on May 22.
Expatriate Bangladeshis are now receiving four types of land services from
abroad, the official release said, adding that the expatriates will be
gradually brought some more land services.
Apart from the four smart land services 'Registration-Mutation
Interconnection', 'Smart Land Map', 'Smart Land Record' and 'Smart Land-
Pedia' launched by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
If the smart land system is implemented across the country, the citizens will
not have to go to the land office unless it is necessary.
