CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 26, 2021 (BSS) - Four more persons died of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours raising the total number of deaths to 102 in the district.
 
“The number of Covid-19 cases climbed to 3,907 as 40 more people were detected positive after testing 303 samples in the district during the period. The infection rate is 13.20 percent,” civil surgeon office sources said.
 
All the deaths are residents of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila.
 
Among the newly detected patients, 19 are from sadar upazila, 11 from Shibganj upazila, nine from Gomastapur upazila and one from Nachole upazila.
 
Among 1,319 patients, 730 are now undergoing treatment at designated hospitals here and rest of them are in home quarantine, the sources added.
 
Meanwhile, 2,486 patients have recovered from the disease here, the sources added.
