DHAKA, Oct 31, 2023 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of Police this 
evening arrested Lt Gen (retd) Chowdhury Hasan Suhrawardi from Savar,
on the outskirts of the capital.

Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and DB chief Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid confirmed the matter.

 He said a DB team conducted a raid in Savar area and arrested him.
Now, he is being taken to the DB office in the capital's Minto road, Harun added.
