DHAKA, Nov 6, 2023 (BSS) - The relief and social welfare subcommittee of the
ruling Awami League (AL) today paid tribute to Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The subcommittee members paid respect to Father of the Nation by placing a
wreath at his portrait kept in front of Bangabandhu Bhaban in city's
Dhanmondi this morning.
 
The members of the subcommittee, led by its chairman AKM Rahmat Ullah, MP,
and member secretary Aminul Islam Amin, placed the wreath.

After placing the wreath, a minute silence was observed to pay respect to
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members
who were killed on the fateful night of August 15 in 1975.
 
Later, the leaders of the sub-committee brought out a procession protesting
BNP's blockade.
