DHAKA, Jan 07, 2024 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader cast his vote at Udayan Pre-Cadet Academy centre in ward no.1 of Basurhat Pourashava in Noakhali district in the 12th Parliament election.
 
"People are casting their votes amid festivity that has proved the defeat of the movement of BNP and its allies. The presence of huge voters has proved BNP's defeat," Quader told reporters after casting vote at 10.15 in the morning.

He said the festivity, enthusiasm and peaceful voting atmosphere has proved that people have rejected those who resorted to sabotage and violence.

Upazila Awami League President and Basurhat poura Mayor Abdul Quader Mirza and local Awami League leaders and activists were present there.
