DHAKA, Jan 24, 2024 (BSS) - Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz has congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her reelection as the Prime Minister for the record fifth time and fourth consecutive term.

In a letter to Bangladesh premier, the Chancellor said, 
"Allow me to congratulate you on taking office once again as Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh".

She continued: "I wish you much strength and every success for the tasks that lie ahead of you".
