DHAKA, June 19, 2024 (BSS) – The government offices resumed today after vacation of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festivals of Muslims.

This year, the government officials-employees got five-day holidays, including a two-day weekend (June 14-15) and three-day Eid vacation (June 16-18) at a stretch.
 
Officials and employees were seen exchanging Eid greetings with each other at offices.

The Muslim community celebrated the Eid-ul-Azha with festivity, fanfare and religious fervor. Dhaka streets took deserted look as people went to villages to celebrate the festival.

The people who left capital Dhaka to celebrate the festival at their village homes with their dear and near ones have started returning to the city.
