DHAKA, July 2, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh's gross foreign currency reserve has stood at US$26.88 billion, according to an official data from bank.
The Net International Reserves (NIR) of Bangladesh, however, now stands at $16.77 billion, surpassing the $14.7 billion target set for June by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
"Today's gross reserve is $26.88 billion. NIR is $16.77 billion," said Bangladesh Bank (BB) Spokesperson Md Mezbaul Haque.
Bangladesh surpassed the IMF target first time since the multilateral lender's $4.7 billion loan package was approved in February last year.
