Dhaka, Aug 17, 2024 (BSS): The interim government will bear all the medical expenses of the people injured during the anti-discrimination student movement, said a press release signed by the Secretary of the Service Department of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Also, the private hospitals have been requested not to accept the bills, as that the government would bear the medical expenses, the press release said.

 The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has already formed a committee to investigate the casualties during the anti-discrimination student movement, and the committee members are scheduled to meet tomorrow to decide their further course of action, the release added.
